Whatever your level of interest or knowledge of archaeology and regardless of the fact that circumstances may limit you involvement in our activities you are always welcome to become a member. The society values the contribution of all its members, and there is always someone to provide encouragement, help and advice to ensure that you enjoy the time you spend with us.
As the CoVID pandemic put a hold on many of our activities the membership of £20 per year (or £10 for students), reduced to £30 for 2 (non-student) members in the same household is currently not being charged. Members’ benefits include: free attendance to lectures and a range of other events throughout the season, as well as being able to borrow books from the extensive library, plus insurance cover for on-site work (surveys & digs), and a 10% discount in the Museum shop (on production of a membership card).
