NOTICES: GUIDED WALK AROUND BIDDULPH AND THE YORK TRIP
A reminder about the guided walk around Biddulph Grange Garden and other Biddulph landmarks, on SATURDAY 7TH JUNE. Meet at Biddulph Grange Garden at 10:45 to enter the Garden at 11:00 a.m. National Trust members free, others approx. £6. The Garden is just off the A527 near the parish church (follow brown signs). Lunch may be bought in the restaurant or there are picnic tables near the car park. After lunch we walk to the churchyard and Biddulph Castle. Boots or wellies recommended. Join at Church 1:30 p.m. if preferred. The walk will be guided by Derek Outram.
Also the York Trip - apologies for deleting the original notice, here it is again:
A trip has been organised to York on Saturday 6th September, leaving Hanely Museum at 8:30 a.m., and departing York at 6 p.m. Cost: £4 for members from September 2007, £8 non-members. Places will be limited so please contact Janet if you wish to come.

Excavations resume at Clayhanger Street, Burslem

Work has resumed at Clayhanger Street, with digging on Sundays and Tuesdays as usual. A new area has been opened to try to follow certain features uncovered last year, including a possible early salt glaze kiln.
